Currently preparing for a European tour, Kilmarnock band Biffy Clyro must find it hard not be constantly smug at the moment.
Having recently added a headline slot at Leeds and Reading Festivals to their already hectic summer festival calendar (California’s Coachella and Belgium’s Rock Werchter to name but two), they hit Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on Wednesday 20th March to showcase their new album, Opposites.
Newer tracks such as Black Chandelier and Stingin’ Belle and others such as Bubbles, The Captain and Saturday Superhouse from previous albums should lend themselves to a largely euphoric show for the Biff, who will no doubt be roused by the fact that Newcastle is their first stop on their UK and Ireland tour. It is absolutely certain to be an electrifying show from one of the UK rock scene’s biggest and more recent success stories.
